1999 Kia Other Repair Question

Blinkers stopped working 99 sephia
This is regards to the following vehicle
99 Kia Sephia 56,000 miles 4cyl
I went to pull out the stock stereo yesterday and replace with new pioneer cd player well after pulling out the stock stereo i realized i needed to go to buy some more wiring well anyways i put the stock stereo back in but now i have no blinkers ? i checked all fuses and none are bad
when you go to put the turn signal on you get nothing no lights for blinkers no blinker sound nothing at all
whats my next route? and im no mechanic by any means so if theres stuff i need to check can you please tell me where to look for it and how to tell if its bad ?

This KIA uses the switch that controls your hazard warning lights. The one that make all you blinker lights flash at the same time. It is right above the stereo.
Disconnect that and no turn signal function.
