hi, i have a kia credos. i had my car run for up to 251 kms in one day which is normal it was running fine whole day but in the evening the engine started to make funny noises and when pressing the gas the car did not picked up as it was suppose to and finally stopped. i could even start the engine. i saw liquid coming below the hood and fumes from inside the hood. i showed it to a mechanic and he told me its the problem with the water pump and that its leaking. he wants to replace the water pump which is fine. and he wants me to take the car till his garage but the engine is not starting in the first place .. is it because of the water pump or some problem with the engine. please let me know
