Nobody believes me when I tell them this. When it is raining, snowing or when I drive through a puddle my check engine light comes on. When the light is on I can't pump gas. Everyone that hasn't believed me I have brought to the gas station to have them try to get gas in. No way. Once my car dries out underneath the light goes off and pumping gas is back to normal. I have the car in the shop many times because of the check engine light and they could not figure it out. Please help.

get the vehicle soaked untill the light comes on, then get it to autozone and scan it for codes, either that or scan it yourself.

let me know what code is showing up, then we can see why it wont fill up.

when you say it wont fill up you mean you have to put gas in very very very slowly or it keeps shutting off right?

alright, i think there may be a issue with your charcoal canister and the purge solenoid.

when the check engine light is on get it scanned, post back the codes and then i can let you know if my theory is correct.
