dear family im back again, this time my daughter is having trouble. When she turns on the ac the car starts to jerk, stutter or sputter which ever word you want to use. I did notice that the ac doesnt get as cold as it used to be. The compressor stays running no cycling like it is low.

Hi sixdux,

If the idling speed is not low, then you check for charging voltage.

If the voltage is low, you might have insufficient power to run all the components resulting in stuttering.

Hi sixdux,

Alternator not efficient will produce low voltage at the battery, Check and see if voltage is between 13.5 to 14.5 while idling with no load.

A slipping belt could also cause low voltage at idling.
