Can you identify the switches in the pictures I posted?

Joe, what are the switches in the two pictures? Remember this is the 1993 engine that was converted to a carbureted engine. So, do I order a 1993 engine or the 1987?

Thanks Joe.

PS,
Picture, one has three lines running to it.

Hey, buddy. Hope all is well.

Pic 1 is the BVSV (pic 1 below) and I can't tell the location for sure in the second pic. I do see a vacuum port on it, but I believe it is a temperature vacuum valve. Take a look at pic 2.

Note that I'm only seeing two vacuum hoses to the BVSV. There should be a cap on the top of it.

As far as the year is concerned, since you basically have turned 1993 into 1987, that is what year I would go with, the 1987.

Let me know if this helps.

Joe

Hi,

Always busy. LOL, I never received a reply. I'm not sure why.

As far as the parts are concerned, those look correct. Have you had an opportunity to install them yet?

Let me know.

Good afternoon, Joe F, how are you doing? Fine, I hope. Sorry, I have been so long in contacting you. A lot of things have been going on around here since my wife’s brother passed away. I have a Spinal Cord Injury and I am losing feeling in my arms, I can’t walk without losing my balance. I took the parts up to the guy working on the truck, my wife told me to ask what he is going to charge me he said $300.00. I can’t afford that right now! Well, it’s my problem and life come with problems. Thanks Joe.

Larry, he wants $300.00 to install the two vacuum switches. Wow! I live in the wrong place. It should take all of ten minutes. If I had a good customer, I wouldn't even charge for it.

Listen, take care of yourself. I'm sorry to hear about your brother-in-law. I hope your wife is accepting things, but it isn't easy. And you better take care of yourself. A spinal cord injury can't be good in any way. I'm really sorry to hear what you are going through. You certainly don't deserve it.

Take care my friend and let me know how everything works out for you.

Thanks Joe. He has done a lot of things to my truck, and she doesn't understand that. He's not charging $300.00 for two vacuum switches. I am still having problems with the 2006 Honda Odyssey battery that is still draining out, every day. I can't find the information you sent me.

Thanks Joe.
