1993 Jeep YJ speedocable

Pull the cable under the vehicle loose and spin the cable end with your fingers. Have someone watch the speedo and they should see the gauge jump when you spin it. Also these cables spin the ends quite frequently so check both ends if youi can. One other thing is on some of these older transfer cases there is a gear that mounts on the transfer case and then the speedo cable goes in make sure the gears work here also.
