2001 Jeep Wrangler Oil Pressure
Engine Mechanical problem
2001 Jeep Wrangler 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 74000 miles
About 2800 miles into my recent oil change, the pressure gauge skyrocketed into the 65-75 range. Changed the oil yesterday, and still reading the same. Idle stops drop to around 55-60, Any ideas? The local dealership is reknown for screwing you over.

You need to verify the oil pressure is truley off withan auxillliary gauge. Many time I have found a bad oil pressure sender/switch giving false readings.
