Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
2000 Jeep Wrangler 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I was wondering if you have to have the special tools referenced in the jeep manuel to perform the pinion bearing replacement. Also if this can be done without the spreader bar at all. Thanks.

Yes you do need a dial indicator and marking grease and what ever tools required to pull it all apart. I can get more in depth if I know what rear end you have and weather or not it is posi. I need to know what ring gear size you have ie: 7 1/8 or 7 1/3 or? Get back to me and I will be able to help better.
