When my jeep warms up it will shake real bad while trying to take off again. Once I get into traffic it can be hard to get going. It feels like my windows are gonig to break out. Once I get some momentum I can get going. This doesn't happen when I first get in for the day or after my first few stops. I was thinking I need a clutch. I put a 4 inch lift on about a year ago but it seemed to operate fine afterwords. This is my third clutch. I can blame offroading on my first two but I have been on nothing but pavement with this clutch. Any ideas? Thanks for your time.

See my profile. Insure you are not in 4X4 with problem........ CHECK THE FOLLOWING for possibilities :

1) "U" JOINTS for wear or motion between the yokes.

2) Clutch Adjusment...Slave to bellhousing Arm (should have some slack, Clutch pedal should have some "free-play" before it pushes on bellhousing arm (Not already pushing arm, with pedal up)

3) Engine mounts for loose bolts/ broken/ bad mounts/ broke welds etc.

4) Transmission and transfer case (check same as Engine mounts)
