I am having a lot of trouble getting my jeep to go into any gear. It feels like the clutch isn't disengaging. It is nearly impossible to get it to go into first while the engine is running even with the clutch to the floor. I have to turn the vehicle off to get it into either first or reverse. With the vehicle off I have no trouble running through all the gears. I have a feeling that it has something to do with the slave cylinder since I can push the clutch to the floor and it still has trouble getting into to gear and another thing I have noticed is that if I have the clutch to the floor and the transmission in 1st gear or reverse and I am sitting still with my foot on the brake, the jeep wants to pull forward with the clutch still at the floor. Its like its still engaged but the only thing keeping me from going is my foot on the brake. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks -Adam

Great description of a worn out clutch. Have you had to add fluid to clutch master? The slave is on input shaft so trans needs to come out.

Nope. I havent needed to add fluid. What do you mean by the slave being on the input shaft so the tranny has to come out? You mean I have to drop the transmission just to install a new slave?
