Steering problem
1997 Jeep Wrangler 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 110K miles

Well my friend has 3 wranglers, 1-94 which is ok. He also has a 97 Sport which has a 2yr old sticky gear, and a 97 Sahara with a leaky gear. So he got a new gear for the Sahara and I pulled the old one apart to fix the leak in bottom so I could put it on the Sport, but I accidently leaned on the pitman arm and the piston came out. How can I get some info on how to reset the brgs in the worm gear. I have tools to hold stuff like that in place. But only if I know how the primary setup is. Can you help?

You can try going here

https://www.2carpros.com/kpages/auto_repair_manuals.htm

Alot of good info in there. If that doesnt have what you need you may be able to use the Google search at the top of the page here to find instructions or a diagram of it
