Electrical problem
1995 Jeep Wrangler 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual
----------------------------------------------------------------
My battery is brand new I went to start my jeep one morning and it wouldnt start the radio or nothing comes on. I looked and noticed a wire looked like it had been cut from my positive side and i couldnt remember if it had always been like that. How many wires should be leaving the positive side and where should they be going? There is still one wire hooked up to my starter from the battery.

Thanks
James

All I see is 2 wires -1 goes to the power distribution center and the other is to the starter-The one you refering could possibly the alternator feed wire to the battery. Disconnect the battery-find the alternator battery feed terminal disconnect it and do a continuity test from the alternator battery feed wire to the wire that's disconnected-needle goes to zero-that wire goes to the alternator.

My battery is brand new I went to start my jeep one morning and it wouldnt start the radio or nothing comes on. The reason for this might be the alternator is not reconditioning the battery and it when dead on you.

Good Luck-
