1995 jeep wrangler yj 6 cyl.. sometimes i hear my fuel pump cycle through and it starts running like a top. other times i don't hear it, wont start. i have changed my crankshaft senor, dist. cap, rotor, and coil. my trouble code says 3-5-5, but i can't find a code that explains this. Do you think it might be, my ignition switch, MAP, or my fuel pump going out, or what do you think it might be?

The PCM diagnostics is fairly basic. The code is defined by the number of flashes given by the check engine light. Each code is given in 2 digit intervals with 3 seconds in between and end with 5-5 which concludes the end of the diagnostic test. 3-5-5 is not a valid code. Are you sure it isn't 1-3-5-5. "13" should be a no change in MAP. Has the vehicle ever been run with a nearly dry gas tank or to the point of "running out of gas"? This would cause pump damage. Visually inspect the fuel pump bus fuse in the powertrain fuse box in the engine bay for irregularities.
