I have a l997 jeep grand cherokee laredo. The floor on the front passenger side is wet and I just overheated. What is wrong?

Sounds like the heater core ruptured and it leaked coolant onto the floorboard.The heater core is located under the dash on the passenger side, when it lost coolant the engine overheated.
