I have a jeep liberty that starts to vibrate at 60k and the vibration gets worse with a humming noise it shakes the whole dash , I have changed the front drivers side bearing and did all the brakes .the passenger side is all snug but the drivers side still has a little wiggle when holding the wheel at 9 and 3 and wiggling it . what could this be .I was told a ball joint but the car doesn't pull when braking just vibrates when my foot is on the gas , if I coast down a hill no noise.

The nine and three position is most typical of a losse tie rod end. You have some one wiggle. And you pull down or push up first on the outer, then the inner. The wiggler will tell you when the play is gone. Then you nailed it down. On another important note. There was a saftey recall on the ball joints. Call the dealer with your VIN and find out if it has been done. One customer of mine ignored it or didn't give it much credence. When the ball joint failed the chassis dropped onto the rim and cut it open like it was on a lathe.
