2004 Jeep Liberty Speedometer and Odometer Not working

Had problems with some fuses a couple weeks ago. Got those fixed (radio, courtesy lights, keyless entry stopped due to blown 15 amp fuse; then pulled another fuse mislabeled in manual as SPARE for its slot but is really a needed fuse as Liberty wouldnt crank when I pulled that fuse), finally, but just noticed a couple days ago that the speedometer wasn't working. Gone on a trip with son's all-star baseball team, and I couldnt tell how fast I was going. Then tried to see what's the mileage from hotel to where we are playing and see that the odometer isn't turning either.
Any answers on what may be the problem? I'm hoping this is causing the malfunction indicator light to come on as well.

Hey BIBBS1,

This sounds like the vehicle speed sensor has gone out and needs replacement. Is the check engine light on? Run the codes to see if you have a code for that and then go from there. Here is the location of the sensor.

It is located in the transmission tail shaft.

My odometer stoped working.
I used that hand thing to turn off the code, alot of times. Now my door locks do not work the way they used to after you go 15mph.
Some times it will work and the doors and speed odometer too. Now it has been a long time nothing works. I would love to donate cause you guys are Great, but I have been out of work for a long time. That is why I havn't gotten it fixed.
