2002 Jeep Liberty Rebuilt Jeep Liberty Engine won't start

I just replaced my 2002 jeep liberty engine after 135000 miles. It won't start. I get some sputtering like the timing is off. I get the P0340 code for Cam sensor circuit. I have a new Crank Sensor and Cam Sensor. Any ideas?
