Jeep Liberty Engine Problem

2002 Jeep Liberty 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 100000 miles
I have a 2002 jeep liberty sport, when the engine is cold and started the A/C engages and functions properly, when shut down and started again, after the engine reaches proper opertation temp, the A/C will no longer engange the clutch and blow hot air, following this the check engine light will come on and give me an error code of P0153, which claims the O2 sensor in bank 2 upstream had a slow repsonce. when Jeep is parked and engine is reved up you can also hear a slight back fire.
