I start my car and there is this clicking noise and it won't start. I jumped it once and was able to drive it but the next I jumped it again at it won't start but still makes the clicking noise. Everything comes on insdie the car but it's not driveable. Can you tell me what the problem is?

The clicking sound is most likely one of two things. Either the battery is weak and can't turn over the engine, or the starter is bad. Can you get it started now? If so, take it to a nationally recognized parts store and have them perform a load test on the battery. That way you'll know if the battery is bad. Also, ask them to check the alternator to make sure it is charging the battery. Most parts stores will do this for free, so there is no money out of pocket.

If you can't get it started, remove the battery and take it to a parts store and ask them to check it. They will need to recharge it if it is low, so you may have to leave it until they can actually check it.

If nothing is found with the alternator or the battery, let me know.
