1999 Jeep Laredo A little shock

Hi,
I've asked people this question before, but I think they feel I'm full of it. My Question, Why do I get a little shock that you can hear very time I get out and close the door? Is some thing not gounded? I got my Jeep about a year ago (last may 2007) I have'nt have any problems with it. Thanks for your time. Becky M.

Hi, just wanted to let you know that you are not full of it, mine does the same exact thing & it only has 65,000 miles on it, I thought maybe static electricity from the cloth seats? LOL and I thought I was the only one. Does it affect the radio also when mine is on it "skips" for a minute then comes back on.
