If it is the 4.0 engine, they are known for water pumps and radiator issues. Your water pump has a weep hole behind the pulley, check to see if there is any fresh moisture around that weep hole. If your engine has a lot of oil and dirt on it, take it to pressure wash it at a car wash and put engine degreaser on it before cleaning. Then after cleaning, check the weep hole for moisture after a couple of days. To check the radiator, look at the radiator from all directions possible for any fluid leaks and corrosion. Also, look at all your hoses for any pinholes by the clamps or any soft spots in the hoses. If it was a cracked head. More than likely you would not be driving it. Also, if it was a freeze plug, they usually either go completely or not at all and I have never had one go on a Jeep before.
