Hi I have been having problems with my jeep for about a year now. Every now and then it won't start. I thought it was because it was cold but thats not the case. So i did the check engine light diagnostic codes and i got an 11 and 12. I wanted to know how do i replace the part and what size do i get? i dont have a manual it didnt come with one because it was a ussed car. Could you please help me with this. Thank you so ever much!

You should really buy a manual, they are only $15 at the auto parts store. Does your vehicle turn over while tring to start or is it not cranking at all? If it is cranking over but not firing up, your Crank Position Sensor is probably the problem. It is located on the driver's side of your vehicle and ls located near the top of your transmission at the rear of the engine with one bolt attatched to it.

code 11 is camshaft signal or ignition signal-no reference signal detected during engine cranking.
Code 12 is memory to controller has been cleared within 50-100 miles....al that code 12 means is that you disconnected that battery.
Replace your cam sensor.
