2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee growling noise in right rear well

Suspension problem
2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 140000 miles

When going over a bump (not all bumps, only large indented ones), my jeep will have a growl or vibration, or grabbing like noise. I can not describe it other than it sounds like a growl. Sometimes it is a long growl, and other times it sounds like a short vibration noise like you would hear when going over those outside line on the interstate. Lately, it sounded like a grab and it was having difficulty letting go. It is definitely coming from the right rear well. We have replaced shocks, brakes, and assessed other areas, and can not find anything.
