Cooling fan inop when ac switched on, works when engine temp limit hit, all fuses checked good, compressor clutch on, AC pressures sky high-trips hi-press cut out.

Hi apegues,

Thank you for the donation.

The system uses a 2 speed fan motor and when the A/C is turned on, only the low speed would work.

The high speed cuts in only when the coolant temperature fan switch is activated.

I would sugget testing the cooling fan motor low speed circuit first. Apply fused battery voltage to the cooling fan Dark Green wire. Fan motor should work in low speed.

The other item to check would be the low speed cooling fan relay, located behind the right headlamps. Removal of the grille and bumper is required to get to the relay.
