Do you mean the fuse blows when you physically close the hatch, or will blow fuses as long as the hatch is in the closed position? If the first one, it sounds like you have a broken wire in the taillight area that moves and shorts against something when the force of hatch being closed is transferred to the rest of the jeep. Do all your taillights and parklights work when the fuse isn't blown? Your park/taillight fuse is on a seperate circuit from your brakelight fuse, so, do your brakelights work when the fuse is blown? And, it IS the park/taillight fuse that is blowing, not the Brake light fuse? Different areas to look at, same possible cause of problem. Update with reply if you can. Good luck!

The problem was a broken wire at the top of the hatch under the trim. When the hatch was closing it moved the wir and caused a shot that blew the fuse
