Jeep runs bad with gas

My 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee runs great until I go to certain gas stations
and put gas in my car. I went to Speedway once and my Jeep shook and
buckled so bad and the engine light comes on until I ran out the gas and it was fine. Yesterday I got gas at Dominick's (I got gas there many times
before) and its doing the same thing. It runs terrible and its shaking so bad, it shakes when I accelerate and when I'm at a red light I'm scared its
going to stall out and the check engine light keeps flashing. I don't want to drive it but I know I have to run out that gas. My husband tells me to just go to Amoco gas stations, but when I need gas, I need to go to the nearest one. A normal car should not be doing this. Why is my Jeep real picky about the gas? I bought it used. Help!
