Anyone heard of this? I have a 2000 Grand Cherokee, bought from a dealer with 45,000km, currently with 125,000km. I recently had a frost plug blow and essentially kill the engine (2 cylinders have 0 compression) The dealer has no answers and I can't believe these things will just go without warning like this, certainly not on an engine that is this young and has had all the required service done by a Jeep Dealer....

Do I have any recourse with Chrysler or does anyone have thoughts?

thanks

If you had an internal leak of the engine compression, You could easily blow out a freeze plug.
Now if it went the other way and the freeze plug blew, then you lost all your coolant, you could have easily warped a head...
