2002 Jeep Cherokee Engine Cranks But Wont Start Unless Peda

I have a 2002 Grand Cherokee, engine cranks but wont start when cold, but when the pedal is pushed to the floor, it starts. Any idea what the problem is?

The coolant temperature sensor acts as a choke in a carbuerator to enrichen the A/F mix on a cold starts -Cold engine needs more fuel -check the sensor's resistances hot and cold if okay

Check the fuel pressure this will tell something about the fuel pump
