I have a 2001 Cherokee. I decided to try Zmax and put in the fuel addative. About 20 miles later the check engine light came on. The garage said that A couple of cylinders were misfiring. He then told me that the zmax brakes up junk in the fuel and lines and it gets clogged in the injectors and that some injector cleaner would take care of it. It did but I havent used zmax since and every couple of months the check engine lights comes on and its the same problem with cylinders misfiring. Replaced the fuel filter and still have the same problem. I cant tell by listening to it and it seems to run smooth. I am howerver not gettin as good of milage as i was before. I am also now gettin a "Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Low Input" code that comes up. Wish i had taken auto shop back in school istead of woodshop LOL

Have you tried a fresh set of spark plugs? Tune up? As far as the evap code, I would need the code # to look it up, dont see what you are describing on the list. Is that a Cherokee Classic,Limited, SE, Sport?

Dont see a code P0452. All the numbers around it are EVAP codes for leaks large and small. Is the gas cap on it?, is the cap in good condition?

Cherokee Classic,Limited, SE, Sport or Grand Cherokee? Most likely the pressure sensor is bad, need to know the exact production date and model to look up its location

Still cant find that code or that component on the locator for your year and 1 year either way. Those are generic codes.Where did you get the original code read from?
