2000 Jeep Cherokee idle control system malfunction

Code po505 shows on computer diagnostic read out, have changed the throttle sensor and the idle control valve. Check engine light still on, what else do I do? What other parts are changeable in the idle control system?

P0505 is IAC circuit malfunction. The computer can't locate the IAC valve, not necessarily the valve is bad. It is very possible that the wiring to the IAC valve is bad. I would check the connector to see if the wires are cut/fried/disconnected.

Please advise.
