Front Brake rotors

How do you get the rotor off a 2000 jeep cherokee sport 4x4 .I took off the brake caliper but do not know what size that big nut is in the middle.It has a cotter pin then the huge nut-thanks

Ok, you shouldn't have to remove the axle nut. Look around the rotor studs, if this is the first time they have been taken off there may be some spring clips on a couple of the studs. If not you will need to use some spray lube around the center hub area below the studs and also at the studs. Then using a hammer strike the face of the rotor between the studs, you will most likely need to strike very hard. If you are replacing the rotors you can strike from the back side. Other wise continue striking front and also at the edges. Will eventually break loose.
