Vehicle ran great, then suddenly was hard starting (had to pump gas pedal) and ran terrible. Sometimes it would not start. Replaced the in-tank electric fuel pump complete assembly with a Jeep OEM pump/filter/sending unit assembly. This immediately fixed the running problem - it runs great again; however it is still somewhat hard starting, you have to crank for several seconds to make it catch. It's not as bad as it was when the fuel pump failed, but it seems like something else is now wrong. It started and ran great before this fuel pump problem.

Finally took the vehicle to a local Chrysler-Jeep dealer. $3173.00 later they finally fixed it. Basically they replaced every sensor and device on the vehicle.
