1999 Jeep Cherokee Overheating

Hi. Can you give direction, Jeep Cherokee 1999 when I come off the hiway on a hot day AC on and get in a little trafic the temp indicator goes up to about 160 and check lights msg. comes on. After a bit 5 minuts or so the needlr returns to norm. I have changed the thermostat ,sensor,fan cllutch, elect. fan assy,water pump and radiator cap. I cleaned between the radiator and evap coils and backflushed system. no help! any ideas?

It sounds like you did it all. Is the fan clutch working as well as the electric one? Also, are you sure it is overheating (coolant boiling) and not a bad temp sending unit? Finally, has it been using coolant (maybe a bad head gasket)?
