Jeep has been running great since last service for about 5,000 miles. The other day, I cranked it, and it started fine but then cut off after about 2-3 seconds. Same result every time. Cranks strong - then dies.

This would be a sign that your factory alarm system has been activated and it is preventing the engine from running.

Try cycling your key in the door locks. Go from lock to unlock and do all the locks and liftgate if you need to.
