My car drives fine when driving in the city, but as soon as I hit the expressway and get to about 45-50 mph it suddenly stops accelerating as if it ran out of gas. It slows down and stops then shakes and turns off. I changed the oil pressure sensors and nothing comes up on the computer. Any idea what it could be?

Hesitation, lack of acceleration, chugging, bogging etc.

Inspect and test all the following listed below:

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.
