My Jeep will not turn over. Over the past few days, the starter would crank very slowy, but then it would start up. Yesterday, it did the same thing, but didn't start. I repeated attempts to start it, but it won't even crank now. My dash battery meter shows a steady "12" on a scale of 9 to 19, with 14 being mid-range. Has my starter gone bad, or is it something else?

I think if you replace the starter your problems will be gone.

Either the starter or the battery is at the end of it's life...load test it.
