Hi lostone32,

Thank you for the donation.

Spark plugs would only pop out if they are not properly torqued. After spark plugs are hand tight, how much further did you turn to tighten?

Hi lostone32,

After hand tight, the spark plugs should be turn another 3/4 turn for new plugs.

The popping of the spark plugs has caused the threads to be slghtly damaged thus the difficulty in retightening.

When tightening this particular plug, you have to be extra careful as to get the correct torque, I would depend more on feel. If you are able to rethread by running a tap over it, that would solve the problem but you have to be careful of filings getting into the cylinder.
