Why does my oil pressure gauge drops from 40 to about 25 after the engine has warmed up?

This is completely normal. The oil is thicker when cold, or room temperature and is harder to flow through engine passages.....as it gets up to operating temerature...it is quite a bit thinner and flows easier.
