Where is the front wiper pump motor? I found it's not under the wiper shroud on the hood, I have to believe it's probably behind the driver side quarter panel, is it? The service manual I have even is wrong. Thank you in advance for your input! -Dane

There isn't a fuse for the washer pump. Instead it uses a breaker. If you open up the junction box where the fuses are (by the passenger side kicker panel) there are three circuit breakers just above the fuses and to the right of the relays. I believe the breaker for the washer is the bottom one CB1 20 amp just to the right of the junction box mounting bolt. I'd start with that before you go replacing motors or pumps.
On the 99 the washer bottle and pump is located inside the driver's side fender. I think the 97 is in the same place.

Often it is just that the tube has popped off and the water sprays out instead on making it to the squirters. Hope this helps a little.
