My drivers side power window started working only some of the time 3 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago it ceased working. Yesterday it went down, but not up. Today I can get it to go up in ~ 1/8 inch increments, perhapos every 5th or 6th try - it stilll will go down, but only sometimes.

The other windows always work from the drivers switches, but work only rarely from the individual door switches for the past year or so.

Any clue?

it sounds like the window motor is going out you can take a test light and see if the switch is sending power to the motor everytime you push the switch if it is you most definately need a new window motor
