When i brake the gauges stop working

when you press the brake pedal, you must be pressing on a wire harness or causing some pressure to a wire harness somewhere under the dashboard...
specifically you are probably loosing the ground connection for the instrument panel or the power connection. You will have to get under there and take a look see what moves when the pedal is pressed.
