1995 Jeep Cherokee BRAKE LIGHT ON?

Brakes problem
1995 Jeep Cherokee 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 181k miles

I changed the rear brakes, and the brake light didnt come on that I saw, then I changed the front rotor, I know they can have one rotor that isnt the right one and theres two do you think that this is what happened? Thanks

Could be the brake fluid sensor in the master cylinder or the parking brake adjustment.

BTW did you bleed the system? And adjusted the rear brakes

Yeah I did bleed the brakes, and the brakes got hard after I pushed them in but then after about 15 seconds, it got soft again? Any ideas?

Do you have ABS? Could mean a bad brake M/C again

Yes I have abs brakes, do you think that I have a bad master cylinder? Or could it be something else and what did you mean by did I adjust the rear brakes? Because I didnt adjust them?
