my jeep has a new water pump and thermostat, the fan clutch and electric fan both work, but it still overheats, but only if im sitting at a light or in slow moving traffic. as long as im moving at a good pace or on the highway it wont get hot. could it be a faulty thermostat or a clogged radiator, thanks for the help.

If the radiator is not clogged and there's no air in the system, get it block and pressure tested

A lot of times it can be a cooling fan relay and the cooling fan won't turn on when supposed to

Check and test the coolant temperature sensor this is the one that tells the computer to energize the fan relay
