Have I got I good problem to solve. Up until today, I have not had any problems with my 1993 Jeep. However, after driving and parking my Jeep on my driveway, I bleed and replaced the brake fluid in the brake system. However, now the Jeep refuses to turn over--it refuses to crank. Is there anything in the brake system that could prevent my Jeep from even turning over? My battery is only about 6 months old and I appear to have plenty of battery power because all of the accessories (headlights, wipers, fan, radio, etc.) all work. Even though I am not getting any type of warning light; could this problem be related the factory sercurity system? If so, how do I fix or disable it so that my Jeep will start?

If it doesn't click, head to the starter relay. Pull it from the socket, and use a test light or voltmeter to look for voltage. There must be 12 volts on one pin all the time, and 12 volts on a different pin only when a helper turns the ignitiobn switch to "crank".

If those are present, move the test light's clip lead or voltmeter probe to the positive battery post, then check for ground in the other relay socket terminals. You must have ground on two pins.

The missing voltage or ground will tell which direction to head next.

I diagnosed and fixed the problem last night, which was a apparently a stuck solenoid. A few taps on the side of the solenoid with a hammer and the Jeep started right up. As a result, I didn't have to check the starter relay or do any other diagnostic work. Since no one helped me, I guess no one gets to keep my donation.
