I got a new battery and everytime I connect it the two 60 amp fuses blow. What could be causing this?

Hello, there is a black wire with a white tracer, goes to the alternator. Unplug it, just for testing. My info shows two 60 amp fuses plugged into that circuit. Don't replace the fuses, use a testlite across the fuse terminals. If the lite comes on, your going to ground somewhere on that circuit.

I'm not sure we're both talking about the same circuit?
