I have been driving my Jeep without issues for nearly a year since I bought it. 2 days ago, I drove it home from work, making 2 stops along the way without problems. The next morning, I got in and it turned over, but would not start. I have releasedd pressure in the fuel line to the injector rack (inline 6 cyl engine) and get fuel pressure to the bleeder right away when turning on the key so fuel pump works. I pulled a spark plug and had someone turn the engine over, but did not appear to spark at all. I should also mention, after testing the fuel pressure line, and pulling the spark plug, the plug appeared to be dry, making me think that not only am I not getting spark, but some additional issue may be keeping the injectors from "fireing". Having worked on cars for a number of years, I am more that a little puzzled. Any thoughts on what I am missing or what could cause the failure of injectors AND spark?

Hi. i also have the same year jeep you do. i had to replace the crankshaft postion sensor. they are said to be a common problem on these jeeps. i don't know if that will solve your problem but it worked for me.
