Ok so I have a 1988 jeep cherokee and it has a small lift. I sometimes take it off roading and it does fine. Lately, I have taken it offroading and i'll get on the main road and it starts to shake. If I go over a certain speed it'll start rattling terribly. It will do this randomly. The entire front end will be shaking. I will put it in neutral and slow down to about 10 miles an hour and it will stop shaking. I haven't gone to get it checked out yet. Does anybody know what could be possibly be wrong?

Its a 3in. Lift and I was told it could be some type of bar attached to the axel. I'm not sure though.

Usually when you lift a vehicle 3 inches or more it changes the angle of the driveshaft enough so that it can't turn properly causing the vehicle to shake. Most lift kits give you a piece to install between the transfer case and the frame to lower it to eliminate the vibrations.

Well I have talked to some of my friends and they thought that I might need an adjustable track bar. I have changed all four u- joint things and it still continues.
