My jeep has always had a problem with the engine cutting off about once every couple of months ever since it was new. The dealer couldn't find the problem so I lived with it. When it cut off, I would just shake the wiring harness and it would start back up and would go for a few more months. Yesterday it did it and it wouldn't start. I checked the fuel pump and vacume valve at the injectors. It has plenty of fuel and pressure. I also have good spark at the spark plugs. It seems that the injectors are not working. What would cause that?

Hi, thanks for the donation. Any applicable trouble codes? What was the fuel pressure spec, 31--39psi. Use a noid lite, see if injectors have voltage and ground.

You should be able to get mil codes by cycling the ignition switch, fuel injected engines. You turn the key just till the dash lites come on, no further. You cycle the key, on--off, on--off, on--off, on, then the mil start flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes.
