Hello, My Jag started to miss, and then one side (6 of the twelve cylinders) stopped firing. It runs, but has NO power at all. I am trying to troubleshoot and have been advised to check two sensors (Harmonic balance sensor and crank sensor two pin connectors) for 700 ohms resistance to verify if it is the harness wiring. I cannot seem to find the two sensors. Can you help me locate or help me troubleshoot what has happened?
THank you in advance.

Hi
Your car does not use those sensors so lets do some basic tests. Check for spark at plugs and check for voltage at injectors.
Let me know
Thanks for donate

Hi,I had the same problem once opone a time and it was my ignition rotor. One side was burnt off.Once you repair the problem you will have lots of fuel backed up on the one side and when car is started lots of smoke.I have heard that the backed up fuel could cause a fire or damage to catalitic converter.I believe your suppose to change oil afterwards because of fuel contaiminating the engine oil.Just my 2 cents worth.HK
