I have a trans flluid leak at the front of pan at the bolts do you feel this is of need of a new gasket. I know its supposed to be filled for life but I figure with that mileage should I have a new filter and fluid change. Is this something that any oil change and/or tranny shop would have no issue with, if I get both gasket and filter? Do you reccommend getting the parts online to provide to said shop.

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

I would be going to a dealer or a transmission specialist to have this job done, and I would not mess about with on line parts if not genuine, for a few extra dollars you will have piece of mind, also many work shops will be reluctant to fit parts not purchased by them as if and if a warranty issue happens, this only make live difficult for all parties.
